The film's religious zealot, Mrs. Carmody, weaved in and out as a believable character. Quite over the top, but I have little exposure to small town nut-jobs, and I suppose a few of her caliber exist (unfortunately). However, it was a cinematic low point- the decision to have her die a pseudo martyr, all laid back in the crucifixion pose.</description>
